Throughout the beginning years, Radio DJ personality, Ed Sciaky of WIOQ-FM in Philadelphia developed a special and unique relationship with Bruce, inviting him into the studio and Bruce returning the favor by granting him exclusive backstage interviews throughout Bruce's career.
During 1979, Ed did a special radio history of Bruce, incorporating those interviews and in studio music sessions from the years 1973-1978.
These moments present a unique perspective on Bruce as they capture moments that would not have been otherwise heard. One such interview plays to Bruce's humor, Ed inviting Bruce to do a wine commercial, while another one has Ed playing "Born To Run" for Bruce to hear over the radio for the first time.
